Nov 4 - Plucky House

This month, I'm writing my choice of genres (as voted by you), so I'm just going to go with what I am feeling each week. And I think for Nov 17, I'm going to work on a Christmas remix!

This week, I went with a plucky progressive house song. It's been some time since I wrote a song in this style. I came up with a decent idea on stream but it's not as far along as I'd like because my head was a bit hazy during stream since I wasn't feeling well.

Still, I think this idea does have promise. I really like the mood and chord progression. The intro piano is really cool (even if the transition after it feels too abrupt). The drums right now feel too thin and there's not a lot of automation or FX to spice things up. But the main idea is there and it's pretty solid so I may revisit this one.

What do you think? Is this something I should do another session on?
