Sept 15 - Astray (Liquid DnB)
Added 2021-09-16 16:03:38 +0000 UTCYesterday was the 2nd Ableton stream and I think it went really well! Ideas are coming really quickly in Ableton and I definitely feel like it will be in regular rotation on stream moving forward.
This week I wanted to focus on writing some drum and bass that was less piano focused. I started with building out the drums and decided on an arp-based melody. I spent the rest of the stream adding layers and some rough arrangement.
This has a similar feel to Myopia, and I really like that! It needs a lot of work on sound design, transitions, automation and FX but I am absolutely going to be returning to this project. What do you think - is this something I should finish?
