Solstice - Week 3

Yesterday was week 3 for the July song and the main point of this week's session was to decide on a chord progression and sketch out ideas for the break and the drop.
I do like what we came up with on stream, but they're very rough. A few things to keep in mind:
- I need to spend a session or 2 before next week on some sound design - it will help flesh out each section (Intro, Break, Drop)
- The build right now is basically just placeholder, it will include parts from the drop automating in underneath parts from the break and lots of FX.
- I will be adjusting the arrangement a bit - the bass intro/outro should be 16 bars, the break/build potentially longer, and the drop will be double the current length.
I definitely have my work cut out for me before next stream & I'm aiming to do some work on it over the weekend, but it will depend on time. Either way I'll keep you posted!

im really enjoying the 90s rave feel this has, especially as it builds. brings back memories of being stationed in germany and hitting their massive EDM clubs. really liking where this is going -josh -edit: after listening to it more, i still feel the "friends in the convertible cruising the coast road" but now i picture, as the song progresses, the friends pull up at a big dance club and theyre inside on the dance floor, lights blasting, fog machines spraying, etc. -josh
