Thank you for you extreme patience worthy of heroes and gods. I know my silence has been incredibly frustrating.

First, i am completely fine both in health and finances. I didn't get covid as some have speculated and i'm well positioned financially. Probably better than i have ever been in years. So don't worry about that. Your offers for funding are extremely generous and appreciated, I am good.

What's been keeping me down these past several months is a battle with severe mental illness. It is chronic and not solvable, only managed. One of the drawbacks of being me. I have every intention of making more videos I just cannot foresee when. But i appreciate that most of you are still patrons. Thank you.

I've been silent on the matter because I worry about my employers finding out about what is a private matter. We still live in an era where mental health science is medieval at best and our work culture has still not progressed far enough to accept the imperfections of the human tools that it exploits for their labor. So mental health privacy is still needed. In fact I'll probably erase/alter this post in a week after most of you have read it. But i thought you needed to know as my loyal patrons over what has undoubtedly been an awesome journey in amateur chemistry. And with any luck, that journey will continue.
