I could use your opinion!

I've been stuck trying to figure out what to do with the Bushcraft skill before releasing the Druids mod since Enchanted by Nature came out. The Natural Living skill provides all the things I wanted from Bushcraft (not having to look for a bush to go to the bathroom or sleep in when my sims are in the wilderness), and even provides the tuning to teach classes in it.

I wasn't really able to focus in on the Bushcraft skill in the first place, and since Natural Living appeared, it seems very duplicative and less developed than Natural Living.

So I'm inclined to remove Bushcraft as a separate skill path, but since I've had the preview out there for awhile, I wanted to check with my patrons first.

Let me know what you think below!

On edit: Another option came up after I posted this poll, but it won't let me edit the poll:

Move the abilities that Natural Living doesn't cover back into Druid abilities (which was where they started)?

The thing that's kind of bothering me about Bushcraft right now is that the Natural Living skill has a lot more detail involved with sleeping on the ground (buffs, you get better at it, etc), but with Bushcraft you just learn it right away and sleep as well as normal.

If I'm the only one who thinks that's problem, I'll just leave it in, but maybe try to add some buffs around it, lol.

I might have talked myself out of removing it just now. Let me know what you think! (this is why I've been stuck on it).

I think aside from overlapping features like sleeping and using the bathroom it's a good idea. Maybe you could rework it into a survivalist style skill focused on cooking, hunting and making useful objects. I especially like the variety of cooking fires and would love to see an option to make a entire makeshift kitchen without opening build buy mode. Also it's good for people who refuse to buy or disabled the new pack bc of all its issues.

Hmm, hunting from Bushcraft is one of the more convenient ways to get meat in the game if you're not a werewolf. Being able to build a campfire for seances and a grill to make potions on are also really useful for Druids. The Bushcraft skill started as extra abilities that Druids eventually learned -- maybe I should move the things that Natural Living doesn't cover back into Druidry? The worst duplication and mismatch with Natural Living is with the low level skills -- sleeping on the ground, foraging, etc. If it's not a separate Bushcraft skill, but rather things that Druids learn, I don't have to think of something simple for level 1. The one loss would be if someone doesn't have Enchanted by Nature (but does have Werewolves), they probably wouldn't have access to the lower level abilities (sleeping on ground, peeing on ground, etc) for non-werewolves. I bet that's not very many people? Thanks for prompting the idea! :D I'm going to add that as an option to the polls, but I'm already going to look over the abilities in Bushcraft and see what ones would make sense to move intro Druidry.

I actually loved some of the options that weren't available in the nature pack, especially the option to hunt.
