About the Upcoming Patch!

A side note: Did you know that the Stable Diffusion AI sort of knows how to generate Sims 4-like Screenshots? The picture is what it thinks a "house in flames, fully engulfed, panicking, as sims 4 screenshot" looks like. I didn't boost the quality, etc, but it's not too bad.
In any case, the Patch to Add Infants has been making the entire modding community nervous since we first caught wind of it. It has the potential to break EVERYTHING (all traits, buffs, etc), depending on how they implement infants. I think we're all hoping they find a backwards compatible way to do that.
Even if they add infants in a way that doesn't break everyone's 'SimData' resources (the technical issue at play), there are likely to be problems, as there are also extensive changes to all of the social interaction menus (Friendly, Funny, etc).
I'm not certain which of my mods will experience problems. Assuming that the patch doesn't have a 'destroy all mods' change, there may be minor problems that I might miss at first.
If you find a bug in one of my mods, please let me know here (or via a message or some other way)! When and if you do, please try to let me know as many details as you can about what was happening at the time! The key to me fixing a bug is being able to replicate it myself, so please let me know enough to see it happen myself.
I like fixing bugs. I don't like that they exist, but I like making them go away. So let me know when something is broken and put a smile on my face. :)
Okay, then -- See you on the other side! (it probably won't be too bad...idk...we'll see).
BTW, do keep in mind that this Sims thing is a side gig/hobby for me, and that I work a full time job M-F. Most of my work is done in the evenings, so some delays in fixes should be expected this week.

Downloaded, patched and am testing this now. They didn't do the bad Destroy All Mods thing (hooray). Some popular mods are broken (WW, TOOL, MCCC, UI Cheats, to name a few), but so far...not too bad. Could have been worse. I'm going to need to do some step by step testing with it later (at work now). If anyone finds anything wrong with any of my mods let me know! Thanks!

If it's a huge Gigapatch, like 3-5 GB or so, that's a very bad sign, since a patch that big probably means extensive compatibility changes to existing EPs/GPs. If it's a smaller patch file (like under 1GB), then it might not be too bad. Fingers crossed!

2023-03-13 14:52:15 +0000 UTCI am torn between waiting to patch and wanting it immediately. Not a fan of sims babies or toddlers, but this may change my mind. I defiantly am downloading EP as soon as it is available, It is finally adding the personality and attraction type system to the sim I have wanted since the beginning, hopefully it lives up to the hype. I hope this doesn't give you too much to fix!
