February 2024 Plot Bunnies Poll and Planning

So… let’s start the month with a bang, shall we?

(As opposed to the kinda whimper the past few months have been.)

I think I’m finally recovering from the aftermath of writing Wake-up Call’s ending, and I’m cautiously optimistic about how to continue All Right! Fine! I’ll Take You! as well as about writing Wordsworth’s final arc without falling into the pitfalls that I usually fall into when writing the end to a long-term project—this one has been, after all, planned for literal years at this point, so I’ll do my best to execute the plan rather than my nerves.

This month should also be when I finally start catching up with accumulated commissions (Periodical Cicadas, Of Sisters and Shadows, and Yui’s Lily Garden will get updated), and I’m really hoping to take advantage of both the recently freed weekly slot and of this being a leap year (that seems like a joke, but I cheered when I realized I would have an extra writing day this month—yes, I realize how sad that sounds).

Aside from that?

Okay, I’ve got, to no one’s surprise, a lot of irons in the fire.

Puella Monstrum’s latest chapter, the climax to Hitomi’s approach to healthy romantic relations with mindcontroling monstergirls, has been half-cooked in the back of my head for ages; A Pure Knight’s Natural Enemy should get an extra update near the end of the month to make up for January’s update slipping into February; the Steve Rogers/Toni Stark extra that has been brewing for an entire year will get some more words added to it (and hopefully finished), the new Shaderic (Ginosko’s commissioner) project that I’ve been stalling on since Halloween, and the New Year’s-themed original story that I’ve got quite a few thousands of words written for will get as prioritized as…

As, well, as you decide.

Because this time around, I’m going to let you all get a bit more about how things are gonna go. The poll is multi-choice, so vote for whatever catches your fancy, and I’ll add both the pending projects and the winning plot bunny to the list and go at them in the order you choose (unless I catch a sudden burst of guilt-free inspiration).

And, speaking of guilt? Thank you.

Thank you for sticking around, for putting up with me messing up my schedule and focusing so much on a single story that the others had to take a backseat, no matter how important I thought that story was.

Thank you for being here and lending me your support. For letting me keep writing.

For being you.

Now, get to vote before I get even sappier than I usually am.

Alas, my perfidious plans have been foiled yet again!
