While I understand that you want to get value from your tools and the space they occupy, it’s important to remember that you are not obligated to use any particular tool to express your imaginations (even a sponsored tool, unless you have a contract). You are pushing hard, making great videos, and entertaining people. You are doing your job well! I also like that you two are steering your own content, and this speaks to that as well. Use the tools that are currently inspiring you! Do the next fun thing on your list! It seems like this one is mostly making you feel guilty. Don’t let it! Like, something with some printed components, some lasercut ones that would be too finicky for the CNC, and some parts made from thicker material that the laser can't handle or are too large for the laser ... or something with carved pockets, I don't think a laser can do that?
