Evan's nerdy project update: ceiling cable clips after 6 months
Added 2020-12-06 23:32:27 +0000 UTCSo when we started doing live streams I designed and 3D printed these ceiling cable clips to route cables along the ceiling and have really been loving how simple and effective they are (easy cable in and out yet secure). Think I made them at least 6 months ago and here is v1 of the model:
But just recently one or two have failed along the mid point, near the hole. I came up with the very clever solution most engineers have when something fails: add more material haha

2020-12-21 16:55:36 +0000 UTCIf you like those cable carriers, check out the CAT5/6 cable clip organizers on (I Think) Thingiverse. I used them to make my home network at the switch much cleaner. With your experience with making models, you could also expand them to fit your larger cables. Nice design!
