WE DIDN'T BREAK IT π It was much more stressful than expected, even though I went into it thinking it would be a pretty chill project haha π But it's a pretty delicate operation, especially since we've never done it before and didn't quite have a feel for it. That rocks! I recycle flat screen TV's into light panels using the refractory panels inside them. It has been done a million times in the past, so no real interest there. I just like the comparison between the two. Will your project be a picture in a frame that is also an active TV and goes back to artwork when not in use?

2020-10-15 02:20:51 +0000 UTCLove this, I've done this countless number of times now. Use to do it as a kid just because I like talking things apart, but I think 5 years ago at this point. I took a 42in tv apart and put a projector behind it for a college research project I was doing on how HDR could work. That was a TON of fun.
