3D print & concrete aftershow

Thanks as always for your support!! In this aftershow we talk more about concrete, silicone, molds, 3D printing, and of course go off on a few random asides :)

We also talk a little more about our lost concrete coaster video (we're still going to finish it!!!... one day)

We also have this newish idea about making how to videos. Basically once we've done a few project videos we'll do a how to with lessons learned from all our projects, which we're pretty excited to tackle!

Yeah SLA is all about support structures and orientation you nailed it. We've had good luck printing at a 45 degree but that adds time, looses accuracy and often increases cleanup. We've also had good luck printing directly on the plate when you have a solid base or when you have an escape hole to prevent suction when the plate lowers to prevent the print from getting stuck. Just added an SLA overview to our project list!

Once you get more comfortable with the Moai, I'd be interested in some tips/tricks and videos surrounding it(or SLA in general). I've had mine for a few days and have gotten insanely great prints from it so far, but I feel like I'm just getting lucky with support structures and orientation. I have a firm grasp on fdm printing, and there are a lot of videos for that online. For SLA, there are surprisingly few that have clear information. Thanks, and can't wait to see what's next.

You can tell when a couple has been married for a few years when (say, at 1:53) she notices fuzz in his beard and removes it with her fingers without skipping a beat in conversation and he grins into the camera (at 1:55) as if to say "lucky me, I married a beautiful girl who removes my fuzz"!! Evan, we are all jealous...
