V16 RELEASE IMMINENT!!! - DEEPEST VERSION / PLAYER ID

V16 is about to drop!

V16 is the biggest and most comprehensive update the mod has seen yet.  

There are SIGNIFICANT improvements in almost every area of gameplay.   

The result is a much deeper experience compared to what you have played in any previous version.  

- Games FEEL different depending on who you are playing with and against.

- Your ability to carry out certain actions is much more dependent on WHO and WHEN.

NOTE: This is 95% CPU v User behaviour in the video - I'm highlighting particular features from the CPU's behaviour!

The best way I can simplify the bulk of these changes in V16 is:   
PLAYER ID + PLAYER DIFFERENTIATION  

There has been a huge amount of work done for this version to create a much bigger difference  in both ON and OFF ball abilities.  

This includes:  

+ Passing - The biggest single feature of this version.   

Passing is much more dependent on stats - and also, context (ability, body position, pressure etc).  Don't expect to play out of a press with low rated players/teams now. Alternatively, 'press resistant' players  stand out much more, and are cool under pressure.

You can't just play laser guided passes at any angle now - you have to take care of the ball.   

This is scaled based on stats also, meaning you really have to think about who is in possession.  

This really impacts your tactical approach and adds a real layer of depth to the gameplay.   

+ Dribbling & Sprinting - is much more fluid and precise in general now.  

However, this also means dribbling with the right players in tight spaces is now very viable.

You still need to take of the ball - but sprinting/carrying the ball with technical, fast players can also be deadly now.   

If you try dribbling with the wrong players though, don't expect it to go well.    

Further to this, fouls are now more opened up due to this change in dribbling.   (Please note that fouls is a longer, more complex conversation - if you want to have it DM me).  

+ Off-ball positional awareness - There is a now a tangible difference between higher rated and lower rated teams regarding their ability to  position, mark and press.  

+ Balance - players are no longer knocked off the ball as easily - especially players with good balance.  

+ Athleticism - A clear difference between faster and slower players.  

+ Stamina - Don't expect to be able to press all game with players of low stamina/workrate.  

+ Shooting - More variety in shooting with deadly finishes a lot more dangerous now - but everyone can still miss!  

+ Style of play - Teams like Man City will play more one touch passes. Dribblers will carry the ball more now etc (this is another more complex conversation - DM me for more information).

 + Weak foot ability - you have to think more about using your players dominant foot for players who aren't very technical.  

+ Other areas which can be more subtle, such as player traits being more noticeable etc!  


Other areas of improvement for V16 include:  

+ Improved trajectory on long passes, crosses, lobbed through balls etc.  The ball is a lot less 'floaty' now and can be delivered with a lot more venom.  

+ Even more freedom of the ball - it really is a separate entity now.  There are more deflections, bounces and you have to focus on controlling and fighting for the ball.  

+ More variety in CPU long passes and crossing (this is a longer conversation, so let me know if you want more details on this).  

+ Further progress has been made on improving/humanising/differentiating goalkeepers.  

+ Improvements to nets (the excessive spring in them from previous versions has been corrected)

ANIMATIONS NOTE:  

A quick, but important one regarding animations -  a significant amount of work has gone into animations for this mod in general. However - as I've said for the longest time, the animation system in this game is far from perfect.  I have spent such a long time balancing and improving this area - please be aware that it isn't perfect and there might be some 'odd animations' at times - of course!   

It's important to note that when more differentiation/compexity is added to the gameplay, it can result in some more 'wonky' animations. at times. I'm well aware of this.  

I'm not going to stop advancing the mod purely to achieve SLIGHTLY better turning circles/transitions for something that will never be perfect anyway.  

If the only thing you can take away is that there are some less than ideal transitions, then I don't think this mod or game is for you :(

Hey Danny, there's not one included no. I use Esim mod for camera. My camera modding skills are not great, so I didn't want to confuse my simple mod with the good Esim version.

Hi there. Is there a camera mod in V16? If not, will it work with any camera mod?
