I saved this podcast for a ride back from New York to STL (it's a long ride, I need laughter to keep me awake through Indiana and Illinois). While in NYC (granted mostly Brooklyn) I walked around looking for Jew-y begal shop/deli's. As, according to this movie, NYC is run by The Jews (also 10 years of Seinfeld made me think it there were good deli's in NYC). All the fucking deli's are operated by Asians; and Asians make shitty bagels; at least the 20 or so deli's I wandered into (plus they mix in weird dessert thingies which may or may not include bug guts; I'm not aware of any studies on the topic so YMMV)! The Mexicans do make good New York style pizza (better than the Italians) so you at least still have that.
