Bannock's Guide to the Monsters of Mejina
Beeper
Beepers beep. Very simple. They come in two flavours, large and not large. Large Beepers are four metres tall and very strong. Little Beepers are two metres tall, and still just as strong, if not stronger. I know it doesn't make sense, but keep it in mind.
Beepers are dangerous, don't get me wrong, but... it's really hard to MAKE them dangerous. They mainly just sorta do their own thing. God save you if they catch you littering though, they do NOT like that. They'll get mad just seeing garbage, actually. It's really funny, if more than one of them knocks over a pile of garbage, they'll start fighting each other.
So Beepers have two main attacks, their punch and their little light ball thingy. Their punch can hit at a range of up to five times their height, and BOY does it hurt. The more dangerous one, though, is the light ball. It burns things REALLY hot, and it can destroy limbs if it touches bare skin. Hell, even if it touches armour below calamite, it'll burn away the armour.
One important, final note: Beepers will split apart into their pieces when they're "defeated." Don't take this as a sign the fight's over, though. Large Beepers will reassemble over the next four hours, and EACH PIECE of a Little Beeper will turn into a new Large Beeper in fifteen minutes flat. Always remember to destroy or contain the head after it falls apart, and you're good, cause that thing will be MAD when it gets back up.
Stahl's Notes:
We once attempted to see what would happen if we were to trap one of those light balls they can create, and were actually able to create an electrical reactor. Unfortunately, it seems that the light balls themselves only last three days. So, while the energy is highly efficient and technically zero-point, and all we would need to renew it would be to anger a Beeper again, it took seven scientists to calm it down the first time, so we haven't done that again since.
They're still in the hospital.
