I know I'm over a year late so this may be over irrelevant but the reason "The Schwartz's" & Walt dissolved their relationship is because Walt & Gretchen were an item 1st. Wayyyy early in one of the 1st episodes of the series Walt was with a woman in a flashback trying to comprise "what makes a person on a chalkboard. That woman was Gretchen. Later when Walt and her were at the restaurant after she stopped by and learned from Skylar he was lying about them paying for his treatment their relationship was brought up again. That is why Skylar originally thought Walt and her were possibly having an affair.

May I make the suggestion that you do so before you watch the final season of Better Call Saul? Thank you for returning my comment about finishing BCS when you are free to do so I meant to ask about El Camino then. You will get more out of Season 6 with a few references from El Camino FOR SURE 🥰
