The Fix- Thank you so much for another great reaction! I absolutely love Zoe Morgan! She is a very interesting "person of interest" because of her job of fixing problems for people willing to pay her fee. And boy oh boy... her chemistry with John is hot! But she's so much more. Not only do I really love the chemistry between her and Reese, but I simply love her as a character in her own right too. She's smart, brave, confident, and she knows exactly what to say and when to say it. I also really love her background, and her story as to how she came to becoming a fixer after her father's arrest many years ago upon witnessing another fixer help her family with the troublesome press. It's brilliant! I really enjoy this episode's overall storylines, and I love how Finch reveals to Reese the guilt he feels over the poor girl's death upon him being unable to save her in time, because he didn't have Reese working for him at the time. I just really love the continued friendship developing between Reese and Finch. In regards to the Elias case Carter is investing... Carter shows Detective Sullivan a picture of Reese because she recognizes the name Elias from a previous case that Reese was involved in. Also... this case was first revealed back in episode three titled, Mission Creep... when a team of robbers, that includes Reese who had gone undercover to protect one of the soldiers, break into the evidence locker to steal the case evidence with the name M. Elias on the box, containing the old knife used in this current episode to kill someone else involved in a previous case from back in 1973. These two episodes are the beginning of a case arc revealed more and more throughout the season. A story arc that I very much love more and more with every new reveal. :) Also... it's tragic that Detective Sullivan is killed because Carter had come to him for help upon her reopening the Elias case. But I love that Carter manages to shoot the killer as he flees from her while attempting to kill her in return. And now... she has his DNA from his blood. She's amazing. :) Thank you so much for another great reaction, my friend! I am just so, so happy that you are loving this show so much! Don't worry about becoming so enthralled with the episodes that you struggle with actually reacting to them. I am thrilled by how much you become so immersed within this show, just like I do. It's wonderful that you are loving this show as much as I love it too. So, thank you very much!! I can't wait for more to come!! Just you wait! :) Until next time... Sincerely, Heidi

Person Of Interest is pretty episodic, but don't let that fool you. Most episodes do have some impact on what I like to call the overall "tapestry" of the show. Many little bits creating a well put together whole. Especially the flashbacks, but many minor things too. Often it's not even particularly spotlighted for you as it's not important to the "case-of-the-week", but if you pay attention the show will reward you for it.

The cop wasn't involved with the pharmaceutical company. Zoey kept asking for favours, including not responding to a break-in at Virtanen Pharmaceuticals. So when Reese and Zoey broke in, the cop screwed them by tipping off the company about Zoey's presence in the building as a means of getting rid of her. Anyway, the cop knew that Zoey will be there since she told him she will (by asking the favour of the cops not responding to her breaking in).

Hello Grey Wolf. Another excellent episode, so glad you liked it. To start with the part about Elias, the ones you had questions about so far. This is what we know up until this episode. In episode 3 the gang that Reese infiltrated stole evidence of a 40-year-old murder of a woman Marlene Elias. Someone hired that gang to steal the evidence and then proceeded to kill everyone in the gang, except for Joey the POI from that episode. Then in the previous episode, Carter finds out about the evidence stolen, which it tracks to a Marlene Elias and that the murder weapon was stolen. Which brings us to this episode where Carter tracks down Detective Sullivan who worked the case 40 years ago. He remembered the son and did some investigating on him and had in his possession some letters that Marlene Elias's son has sent to a woman looking after him when he was young. Carter went to Detective Sullivan's place to retrieve those letters but found him dead and the shooter was just leaving the building. That's where we are with that. In regards to this episode, I am so glad you loved it, it's an early favourite of mine as well. Every scene that Finch is in, it's gold. His speech gets to me almost every time. Zoey is a great character and you can already see some potential between her and Reese. In regards to the episodic episodes, you will find, if you compare the shows, that this one is exactly like Lost and Fringe (hence the involvement of JJ Abrams between those shows that I mentioned in my comment for the previous episode). Season 1 is basically character development and discovery, with a sprinkle here and there about an overarching story. Then in season 2 we start getting more and more involved which culminates with the main characters diving headfirst into the main storyline that the show wants to give us by the end of season 2 or with the beginning of season 3. Just remember the beginning of season 3 for Lost and Fringe - that's when we're getting into the thick of it. It's the same with Person of Interest. You will love it. Thanks for the reaction, as always. Until next time...
