A preview of what's coming up.

Hey guys.

I know that I once again have been quiet for some time but I actually have quite a lot of material to upload from now on. In this post you find a bunch of images that I've made recently. Some of them have been direct experiments that has allowed me to gain some new insights to share with you guys. I've also made a list of your requests, and I thank you for those, since it makes it a lot easier for me to figure out what to do next (list is not in any particular order):

-Cinematic animation test + TyFlow and lens distortion.
-Fabric
-Camera composition
-A great way of working with wood textures
-The Concrete scene - Complete rebuild on video
-Material presets + shader breakdowns ("materialism")
-The relation between glossy/reflection/IOR. (Not really sure how to tackle that though)
-Balancing tonemapping with LUT's
-Some small workflow tips
-Car rendering in studio
-Car rendering with backplates
-Veneer setup + scene breakdown
-Exterior cabin + environment.

Also I am very aware of that my response rate to questions here on Patreon is generally really slow. A major reason for that is that Patreon's system actually sucks really hard. When you comment on a post, I get an email, but it does not say what post it is, so I can't see what you are commenting on, and the button that should take me to that post only takes me to the start page of Patreon.

Result: Most times I should reply to a comment, if it's not perfectly obvious what you were commenting on I basically have to log in to Patreon on Desktop and manually scroll through the posts until I find that particular comment. I have made several tickets to Patreon about this and they always thank me for the feedback and then nothing happens.

With that being said I'm not telling you not to comment, I love when you do and I really value and need the feedback that you give me. However if it is specific questions that you want answers to rather quickly, I do engourage you to write to me on Facebook, and if I don't respond to PM (if we're not friends it'll end up in some "invisible" inbox that is easy to miss), feel free to write publicly on my wall. My facebook page is open publicly for anyone including non-friends.

New vid coming tomorrow morning.

THANK YOU <3

Hi Johannes, really interested on you doing non "typical" architectual stuff , for example the car in the warehouse is really great. Please continue towards that direction , I am sure it will be amazing . Thanks !!

I would love to return to that. I'm not pleased with the old porsche images but now 2 years later I could certainly do some improvements on it :-)

Coming, thank you for your interest in it :)

Those videos are coming up first. The project is not finished but I will be jumping between projects a little bit :-)

Hello, I think your Porsche you once showed was definitely as good as not better ... (subjective assessment of my own) I think it would also be worth showing workflow. Thanks again for a great job for the whole FS. power with you.

Hey. I'd love to see the Automotive lighting and shading breakdowns ... very impressive

Is it possible to breifly explain how did you get this beautiful light in this one ? https://c10.patreonusercontent.com/3/eyJwIjoxfQ%3D%3D/patreon-media/p/post/29925234/3850e1d5ec5c4bbb9f2671a0518b0cd5/1.jpg?token-time=1569542400&token-hash=8srZFCa15iFmeOHLCQmDLXLnZ7JLmXW7Bhvu_Q-T8go%3D
