If someone proposed to me before we even discussed marriage id feel weird about it. But that's just my personal preference!

People change and relationships change. If something goes wrong it might be hard to recover your friendship afterwards.

And especially considering y’all have barely dated, just be chill and have fun getting to know each other as romantic partners. Maybe I’m bitter, but I honestly think getting married so fast would not be a smart decision.

Started dating when we were 14. We just got married at 34 on our 20th anniversary this year. It doesn't matter when you get married, just that it's right. It didn't matter when, I just knew it was right with him. I'm so happy.
