I just finished editing these and I'm still at a loss for words.. but these are some complex, crazy issues and I can't wait to see how you chime in after our discussions on them. I really don't want to give spoilers, but stories number 3 & 4 I have some strong reactions to (sorry for being A LOT). Im the same way! Just like the commenter I struggle with CPTSD and I can be extremely emotional. but my emotions know a time and place... for the most part. If she was only crying about the cat and that was it then I am on her side because I would probably do the same lmao but it happening at every event is where she messed up.

I joke that I have the crappy form of Audhd where I get emotional easily. It’s annoying. BUT… I would absolutely never have cried hearing stories about someone’s old pet that I didn’t know, and I am a crazy animal person. Just a thought 💭

In Brazil the people that get this jobs are public servers, yes they are for life and yes they cannot fire you unless you do something horrible or criminal. You can however, get promotions and higher salaries when you work hard. My mom is a public server, it is hard to get those positions and also it’s a grate financial security. I understand how Americans would not understand this job, but even though it’s hard to get it, it’s actually pretty common

Nothing over things like recipes but animals and things even less sad such as craving food really bad and not being able to get it (yes really silly I know but in my mind it was devastating?!) I could spiral down emotionally and get so upset about it I would feel emotionally drained for the rest of the day. I was battling depression and had an inbalance that needed fixed as well as some past trauma growing up. After a year or so on meds and some therapy this took away that trigger and now I don’t experience this at all anymore. I didn’t even remember this until hearing this story! Crazy to think about now.

Theres a tiktok of a man doing this for his wife and the comments went crazy saying makeup is expensive and he better not be using her daily makeup. But then you go on their page and it’s a bunch of couple rage bait pranks, and she’s a makeup artist with 500k followers so she probably has more makeup than she knows what to do with assuming all the PR. Someone wrote this story directly after the video went viral.

Also OP diminishing the wedding because it’s not a giant life changing event, doesn’t give it any less significance to her friends actually legally marrying that night. She’s absolutely TA, and further more she’s finding a lot of time to complain about it on the internet instead of use her remaining time to help her supposed non-friend finalize details especially if she’s not able to attend. Everyone tells a story as either the victim or hero, but never the villain.

Cleaning requires motivation, and some of us don't exactly get a good supply of that. I've spent my whole life being called lazy and childish for not doing chores, or putting them off until the last minute, or letting my room get disgusting, and it is not on purpose and I feel absolutely awful for letting things get unreasonably dirty. The guy in the story seems to have some serious issues, and I'm not saying he's innocent or anything, but can we please have some grace when it comes to being messy people.

It's not that you can't get fired if you really suck, but you have to follow procedures or you have to have done something really bad. It's to guarantee the autonomy of gouvernemental employees.

I know I need therapy for some of the things I experienced in my childhood, but hearing that it’s not just me that cries like that was somewhat comforting. TY for reading that story to me hehe
