I know you are having trouble with your internet but when it's ready . I think you had trouble with bts documentary I can't remember which one we last watch . I'm a little behind but hybe did a little partnership with kocowa and they have some bts content on their site if you want to see if you can record them maybe it'll help. 🤞 https://www.kocowa.com/en_us/search?q=bts

Hey caitlin will you be watching jimin and jk show called are you sure on disney plus ? I think you'll enjoy it's like bon voyage/ in the soop. Or is that something you'll do another time?😊 Sorry im not sure if it's something I should ask on goggle form but just thought I'll check.

JoY

omg you gotta watch anime! Haikyu is a really good one to start with. Since its not that long and super fun!

Vaani

Sorry to comment so much but I completely forgot about this anime and I thought it might be one you’d find interesting. It’s called Uta no Prince-Sama. It’s about these groups of kids who are going to school to either write music or perform it. It’s definitely cringe at times😂 but I did enjoy most of the music in the anime

Savannah Guess

Honestly I agree 100% I don’t like sports but I love sports anime so I understand and thank you for agreeing

OMG YES TO ANIME REACTIONS PLS. some of my other favorite k-pop reactors have been diving into anime as well so i'd love to see you also do it, if you're interested!! I can talk about anime all day tbh, it's another one of my main interests but, to keep it short, I grew up watching animes such as Naruto, Pokemon & Beyblade and i've loved Naruto ever since I was young, but I would honestly say I didn't fully get into anime *as a whole* until 2017 (after I graduated high school and I was just bored that one summer and I randomly decided to try anime again and I officially got hooked forever lol) and it's all thanks to Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood! as for recommendations, these are personally ones i'd recommend as good starter animes: - Attack on Titan (I replied to another comment in this post about my thoughts on this show and why I thought it's a good one to start with!) - Haikyu - Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - My Hero Academia - Fruits Basket (2019) - Jujutsu Kaisen - Naruto (i'm hesitant to recommend this ONLY because it's one of the longer animes but, if you ever plan to react to it, I recommend watching long animes alongside a shorter anime just so you won't get burnt out bc I can understand if the length will intimidate you lol, but it's a lot of people's first animes and it truly does have characters that hook you, imo) - Death Note I think anime movies are also a good way to get into anime! Some of my recs are Howl's Moving Castle, Your Name, A Silent Voice, My Neighbor Totoro (or any Studio Ghibli films tbh)! One last thing I wanna add in regards to animes is, one of the things I love about anime is they're super easy to consume bc, for the *most* part, nearly all animes tend to be 20-23 mins per episode so think of it as 1 kdrama episode can basically equal to 3 episodes of an anime. So while I understand that some long animes can be intimidating in length overall (like One Piece, which has over 1000 episodes), the run time for each episode is also often short so it kinda evens out in that sense. :) anyways, don't mind my yapping lol I just love anime.

For me personally when it came to Aot it took me so long to start it even though I knew I was gonna love it, because of the whole “eating” situation. Also based on her past reactions to things that where a bit more gruesome I thought I should at least warn her about that😂 But I do agree it is an amazing anime

Savannah Guess

omg, those are some really good recs! idk if I'd recommend some as a "starter anime" though but I do love the lineup if we're talking about good anime recs in general! Also, I tend to recommend AoT as one of the good starter animes bc I truly do believe it has everything (interesting plot, action, morally grey/compelling characters, good friendships/character dynamics, eps that will just hook you to the story, even lil bits of comedy here and there to add in bc this is, overall, a quite dark story) combined that can make even a non-anime fan be interested in trying anime; however, you do have a good point with warning Caitlin she could either love it or not handle it bc I could see both sides!

skye

Naruto is one of my all time favorites, and it also has a nostalgia factor to me bc it's one of the animes I grew up watching! One of the good things about anime is, often times, it tends to be like 20-23 mins per episode so they're easy to get through; however, even if I do think Naruto is a good starter (bc it is a lot of people's first, or one of them), if she does end up watching it, I feel like it may be best to watch this and a shorter anime alongside it, but I definitely see the resemblance between Naruto's journey and BTS' career!

When it comes to Haikyu, I will say, even if you're not a volleyball (or any sports) fan, I personally thought Haikyu was still enjoyable for its characters! When I started watching Haikyu, I wasn't really into sports irl yet (at this point, I do keep up with basketball/NBA, but even then, that's it lol) but I got so hooked with the anime regardless and I even found myself being invested in the practice and actual matches. :') I do agree animes like Haikyu and My Hero Academia are some good starter animes!

These are also my suggestions in general for anime: Sports: Haikyuu or Slam Dunk Action: Solo Leveling or Fire Force Adventure: Demon Slayer or Soul Eater Romance: Fruits Basket (Original or Remake both are good) or Snow White with the Red Hair Magic: Fullmetal Alchemist or The Ancient Magus Bride Feel Good Anime: Devil is a Part Timer (some action), SpyxFamily (also some action) and Say I Love You (romance) My Personal Favorites: Psycho-pass (very intense and has a lot to do with human nature), Kamisama Kiss (romance), and Jujutsu Kaisen (also really intense but a great anime)! ** I would also like to add Attack on Titan but I’m not sure how you would take this one😂 I can see you either really loving it or just couldn’t handle it Hope this list helps a little to broaden how many anime you know!

Savannah Guess

Thank you Caitlin. I'm really glad you continue this reaction. In regards with watching Anime, it's totally fine. I only watched "Naruto", and for me it's some what similar to BTS career journey. Naruto was like an outcast from the beginning because of this some sort of power inside him that is both good and bad, Naruto just need to make a very wise and careful decisions. 😊😁✌️🫰

Eleonor Capino

I absolutely love anime and I think you would really enjoy it! For a starter anime I would suggest Solo Leveling. It’s an action and adventure anime that’s new so it only has one season out and the second will be released soon

Savannah Guess

Or haikyuu if you like volleyball

Arianna Casimir

That would be awesome if you watched an anime! I recommend my hero academia just because it’s a good starter anime!
