Win11 partA (VIDEO TUTORIAL)

Hey friends!

This month I will break down the Windows11 commercial I had the pleasure to contribute in 2021. I will explain pipeline/day to day stuff that I am using for better organisation in my projects (and for peace of mind when it comes to changes lol).
Some topics I will discuss include tokens/folder structure and general project asset management. If you have more questions regarding all that, let me know in the comments below as I wont go into crazy depths about em in the video.

Thanks a lot for being here and supporting me!

hahah thanks a lot buddy. For this type of textures, scatter some rocks (forester or ready ones or even pieces from voronoi fracture) and then render a Z depth pass as exr 32 bit

This was one of my fave tuts you've released! Love it and excited for part 2! Any tips on generating procedural textures like the sand-circles-map? "When I'm working by myself I don't give a sh"t" cracked me up - still think you get MoGraph's best humour award.

Hi how do you mean? Models in this stage of design are usually ready and we kinda look the overall art direction. On top of that I dont model unless something procedural hehe but keep an eye for the rest of the tuts u ll find some useful tricks there. Cheers

Thank you, this is very insightful and looking forward to adapt this workflow

Well the very basics of tokens that I use are : $prj = my project name ../ = go one folder up /$prj/ = create a new folder with my project name It has many things from dates to camera names etc whatever works for you. This is enough for me and as I also tend to overwrite stuff that are named based on project name. Check out CV Tokens is a cineversity plugin that explains these things in depth. Other than that tex/vol/alembic are the default folders c4d is looking in order not to miss files. So once ur c4d file is on the same folder with these folders, u can pass it along to other artists with no issues.

I’m definitely intrigued with the token system and file management. I can’t say I have many issues but if it’s something that really helps out with organization while keeping renders optimized files linked properly and something that caters to efficiency with multiple versions and variations I’d love to see a quick breakdown on those things personally.
