Pitatakia TVC part B (VIDEO TUTORIAL)
Added 2020-07-14 18:13:19 +0000 UTC
Hey beautiful people,
So this is the second part of our breakdown series. Tutorial became a little lengthy, too much information at some point. But oh well, these are actual projects, and this is how things get done.
Let me know if something is unclear.
Till next time :)
edit: btw trying to export this video in AE, took 1h 10 minutes... in Premiere took 3 minutes (!) and i wonder whats wrong with AE 2020. Any tips most welcome :)
Hi mate, I never showcased this kitkat project. Its a very old one and i dont remember much about how i did it but it was basically posemorphs that were created carefully.

Hi! Love all your work and I really appreciate the tutorials :)
I have a question about a project you made that is almost but not fully explained in this video. It's about the wrapping of the chocolate bar in the KitKat Ruby project. I understand that you use pose morph with fields for the final sealing of the wrapper. But how is the wrapping around the chocolate bar with the nice bending made and then combined with the pose morph sealing?

Snap to floor from Merk is what I have. It actually works procedurally so things like rotating a cube and keeping it t the ground plain are pretty cool. Great for making scenes without having to worry that the objects are actually connected. I do wish it worked with any object. As in you can connect any object to each other procedurally. This is probably why we have hair selections? Lol. Thanks, bud!

Drop to floor, its a free one. I wanted to try snap to floor but was too expensive for what it did and i thought no :)

One last thing... is the icon with the down arrow a snap to floor plugin? It’s in your custom tool palette above your object manager.

Have you updated to latest Nvidia Driver? I was having big problems with AE 2020 but after updating to the latest studio driver it resolved the issues and it is much faster :)

Never knew about set parent or that unparent fixed that issue! I've always done null stacks where the first null I'll put underneath the object I'm trying to move, then reset PSR, and then when you put the animated object in there it won't jump in position. Then I'll put that null in another one that has better coordinates hahaha... so backwards. Either that or I'll use the animation button for translating the whole curve, or use freeze transformation for the gimbal lock issue.... but man that's a great tip!! Also love the soloing tip which I haven't used much yet. And dude you need to stop working so hard hahah... really hope your neck gets better soon!!

Thanks a lot my friend :) I have kinda serious issues with it to be honest. I will have to start therapy. Same with the hand. Despite not using mouse for the last 5 years, i have tendonitis which comes and goes. Last few months, is more often and more painful. Be careful its a sneaky thing that affects u as u sit a lot of hours on the pc + as u get older. Cheers
