October 2025 Newsletter + Audiobook + Preorder!
Added 2025-10-07 16:23:02 +0000 UTCHi, all!
With the bittersweet departure of summer (fuck you, allergies) and the chill, calming onset of autumn (fuck you, leaves!) we step firmly into spooky month season, one of my favorite times of the year.
It's not just the promise of Halloween, candy, or pumpkin spice that calls me. It isn't the fact that school is in session for the entire month, nor is it the Hocus Pocus marathon I participate in with friends.
It's the fact that my bedroom is the exact right temperature for sleeping.
Here we are in the final quarter of 2025, and this year has been a rough one. I know I had several months where I was only dropping a single book, and my days have been entirely wrecked with too much to do. Frankly, I am a juggler who is attempting to perform beyond my means, but there is nobody else who is going to help me play with my balls.
(are we still doing phrasing?)
Honestly, it's not that I've bitten off too much. It's that life doesn't care how busy we are or whether we are trying to broaden our horizons. Me being terminally behind is nothing new, but I've had some wicked IRL developments on the homefront that mean that there's always a small chance that I may have to drop everything to go take care of a family member. With roughly 25 working hours every week (yep, my maximum writing time is only 25 fucking hours), a single setback means I'm trying to squeeze shit in on the nights and weekends.
Thank you for continuing to believe in me even when I feel like I'm dropping the ball 24/7. Thank you for still being here. I've had some long-term patrons leave during the writing of Book 8, so while I've been living in a maelstrom of feelings about my personal life, I've been forced to stare hard at my writing more than once and ask "Am I still good enough?" However, rather than shut everything down like a powerlifter who just shit his pants, I am determined to see things through, no matter what.
Anyway, it's time to share with you some GOOD SHIT. This is the kind of stuff I've been working so hard to make happen.
Book 9: I will be starting on Book 9 in November. Why? Two reasons. One, I need to get Dead and Horny 3 done and off my plate so I can concentrate on Book 9 all by itself. The biggest issue I had with 8 was taking 18 months to write the damned thing. When I put so much of myself into my books, I need to do it faster than I change as a person, if that makes sense. The second reason is to actually sit down and make a small map of where I need the plot to go for Book 9, and potentially the future of the series as a whole.
Audiobooks: For those who missed it, Radley's Island is officially available on Audiobook. I may have mentioned this before, but I've lost track of everything I've shared with people anymore, so it gets dropped in the newsletter.
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!
Audible is having what is likely a one-time deal on my Radley House Omnibus. If you are an active audible member, you can get the book 1-4 audiobook omnibus for just 8. Fucking. Dollars. Keep in mind, we have no control over Audible's pricing. They put the book on sale for the month of October only, which means we've triggered the algorithm and they're testing to see if this book might be "popular." It is unlikely we'll see this price again. Also, the omnibus is 69 hours long. Nice
Preorder Alert! I have a collab with none other than Adam Lance, and we are dropping a huge fucking book on you in November. King of the Fae Isles: A city-building litrpg Fateforged novel takes place in the same universe as Trailer Park Elves. We've got preorder bonuses for certain sales milestones, and I'm gonna drop one right below! Artwork of our very own elemental muscle mommy, Gemma.

I've got a sexy version of this as well as some youtube vids and audiobook outtakes on my Discord server for anyone who wants to follow our attempts to dominate the gooner litrpg reader meta with crunchy numbers, talking snakes, and a cowgirl who says uwu. (Adam and I are known for our misbehavior in the author channels, so this collab was pretty much two idiots saying yes to each other)
Still here? Here is the obligatory reward message.
Rewards: I have sent out the official Patreon rewards. For those who are new, these are freebies you can get from me as you accumulate pledges over time. This process is not automated, so if you think I missed you, comment below. Messaging me triples the time it takes to figure out if I missed you and I might not see it for weeks.
Folks, that's all for me. I need to get a ton of work done, so will do my best to drop by and say hi when I've got more shit to share with you. Have a happy October, and don't eat any shitty candy, you only deserve the best.

The economy is tough and many are tightening their belts right now so i wouldn't blame yourself for folks dropping off. That being said, Book 8 hit a little harder than most and had a very dark undertone. it felt like the beggining of the end for House Radley (specfically Mike moving into Royalty/Divinity mode). Re-reading some the books from the start, it seems things are radically different from there to here but i try not to let that get to me. For what it's worth, you've got me to end of D&H and HFHM!
