My Issue With Red Dead Redemption 2 UNRELEASED REVIEW

This was supposed to be my first video of 2019, but I ended up scrapping it due to having some changed opinions on the game. I streamed myself playing the whole thing and I think that led to me having a more negative opinion than I might have had if I just played it on my own. I was still new to streaming and felt pressure to be entertaining, plus my deal with Facebook had me focused on my viewership more than I'd like which probably put a dampener on my experience. Not saying the streams weren't fun and that the opportunity from Facebook wasn't a blessing (honestly, without it I might not still be making videos today), but it definitely added pressure.

When I played the game a bit more off stream to get footage for the review, I found myself enjoying it and the things which previously bothered me weren't as much of a problem anymore. At the time, I felt I was too harsh on the game in this video and I didn;t want to put out a review that even I didn't agree with anymore. I was also concerned about people commenting that I was being nitpicky and me feeling like "Yeah, you're right. This was stupid."

Looking back on it though, I don't think I was being too unfair. I was also in a more negative headspace at the time which led to me judging my own work much more critically than I do now so that may have been a contributing factor to me not being comfortable with posting it too. I don't really make review videos in this style anymore so this was an interesting one to look back on.
