Jim already know about his grandmother passing tho, since he reacted to BTS hardship, where is mentioned. Anyway he had difficult years for sure since 2016, he changed a lot during that time :(

2022-07-25 09:25:23 +0000 UTCIs not a spoiler since they won't say the reason of V joining later, but is important you know to understand the mood of future episodes. Later on was revealed that his Grandfather passed away before leaving for Malta so he joined them later to stay with his family. Tae is really close to his grandparents since they raised him. Suga too had a funeral to attend during this season unfortnatly but he never speaked about this so we don't know who died and we respected his privacy of course.
