When Smart People Get it Wrong - Answering "Plot Holes" in SIGNS

Here's an early edition of my latest YouTube exclusive just for you, my darlingest ones!

I once read an article about the "burden of knowledge". It basically talks about how humans learn from the moment we're born through our experiences even before we have cognition abilities. We just don't understand what it was like to be without the knowledge that it's unfathomable to understand how anyone else could not know what we know. The same with using the toilet, wearing clothes, sitting in a chair, drinking from a cup/staw, eating with silverware, etc.

You engaged in this thought exercise and discussion, sober. Ha ha ha ha. You are the best Aust

Love the in-depth “door” conversation, shit I have a hard time with doors here on this planet sometimes 🤣 “oh shit it says push not pull” Also, as humans we wouldn’t know if our space suit, or any part of it, would react to an aliens planet and burn us instantly. We’d presumably send a metal drone of some sort first. But how would we know that the specific thread in our space suits or some sort of lining or plastic on our bodies at the time isn’t going to react to something in the atmosphere? Like your argument states, we don’t know EVERYTHING.

Have you seen Frequency?? Sometimes you just have to leave your questions at the door to enjoy the movie.

Vicki McGuire

Ong, I didn’t have a problem with it until 5 minutes ago. 😭😭 that was and still is one of my fav movies.

Vicki McGuire

I thought Signs was a good movie one of his best.

You develop a spaceship to defend you from space. Space ship is just bigger clothes. Spaceship doesn't exist without clothes.

This is the type of obsessive and cathartic content ive been craving

Am I lost? I really thought you were driving this thought process towards a different issue. Maybe you were and I’m just too dense to understand . Anyway, it was still entertaining. Peace

Carilyn Done

Agreed. Imagine approaching Lilo and Stitch with this logic. Or ET. Or any movie with any unknown elements.
