Big-Hearted Bosko Scan Update
Added 2021-09-03 15:41:54 +0000 UTCBig-Hearted Bosko is the 2nd of 3 scans I've received back (still waiting for Jack and the Beanstalk).
This film as never been restored & released by WB (or if it's restored, it has not been released). It has only ever been released on VHS and DVD by the appropriately named Bosko video company, which sadly isn't around anymore.
If anyone has has those releases or seen them, many of those prints are in bad shape with a tremendous amount of scratches, which can see on the title card above (right side).
My scan too includes the ugly Sunset Productions title instead of the original WB pennant flag card. I'll replace that with with an appropriate copy of WB card.
The image from the scan is far clearer than what publicly available now, but a little hazy. I'll have to see what I can do to clear that up and sharpen the tones a bit. There are far fewer options for grading available when working with black and white film.
