Definitely one of my fave episodes of the season and frankly, of the entire series. And it was directed by none other than Elizabeth Henstridge (Simmons) herself! In fact this was her directorial debut. And the writer of the episode was a Buffy alum, Drew Greenberg. Which is probably why they included the use of that word in the Daisy-Simmons scene, Phlebotinum. Apparently that was a made up term that the Buffy writers would use in the writers room to refer to some fictional material with fictional properties that the plot would require in order to solve a problem.
