It’s time for a brand new series to kick off with early access to episode one of our first LEGACY game: The King’s Dilemma.
We’ve assembled a small council made up of big personalities, who are going to discuss and debate dilemmas affecting the Kingdom of Ankist. Their choices will decide the fate of the country! Will they do what is best for the masses or what benefits their own noble house the most? (No prizes for guessing which one most people go for)
As a legacy game, each session of the King’s Dilemma builds into the overall history of the nation, with the choices the player’s make shaping the present and probably coming back to bite them in future playthroughs. The winner at the end of the campaign will be house who has positioned themselves perfectly when the kingdom either prospers or falls to ruin. (No prizes for guessing which of these outcomes is most likely either)

I'd love to play it myself one day but I live in France and all my boardgames friends are French, but I'd need to play it with an English speaking group to really get the most out of it as I can't speak as spontaneously in French or follow fast flowing group discussions (that's a bit of a an accidental tongue twister there!). There's so many games that I don't get to play because of this :-(

Spoiler alert, the dilemmas in the next sessions are going to be NOT for the faint of heart; slavery in comparison to what is coming next is pretty tame.

And now I know the answer :-) But these legacy games can get very rules-heavy, and there is a learning-curve. I loved the video, and am looking forward to more.

So if you become the moderator you don't gain the power as well. If the Leader token is held by a player on the losing side, the Leader token is immediately given to the player on the winning side who invested the most Power on their AYE/NAY card. If players of the winning side are tied, the ownership of the Leader token must be determined by the Moderator. So for example Ken wouldn’t have signed that card or got the coins, it would have passed to the other side. But still loved the video and looking forward to the rest as someone has played the game before!"

Then re-record them, but have to scrap them again because they have Ben in them, and The Pandemonium Institute are no longer working with NRB due to community pressure. Understandable that they didn't have anything to show us, but I'm going to pause my membership until one comes out as that's the only thing I'm on this patreon for ^^'
