The sap pap is said to be rather a proof of concept than a potion with a real purpose. Its challenging recipe makes it the central part of sinister brewing competitions and dreadful alchemistical exams. The very few that are "lucky" enough to taste one perceive its effect as an unbearable burden – some, however, seem to embrace the sap pap’s wicked magic with open arms.
