I would have hoped they talked about her, though I can see Willow either not wanting to talk about her or perhaps talking about her in private. Aaand she's been avoiding him, though Spike did nickname her Glenda so he might bring her up. Which would bring up Willow trying to destroy the world, etc. etc.

Them screwing that up with Odin and Janus laughing in the background sounds about right for Buffy verse. Since their go to idea for fixing things tend to blow up horribly in all their faces. Especially when Willow is messing around with magic. They're hoping to get the him back that has so much baggage that it really cripples him in a way is something I'd hope to see delayed. Maybe let him live a little with his younger mindset, so even if his memories get returned, it'd at least allow him to grow a bit. His grittier future was one filled with tons of pain and suffering. His younger self could grant him far more happiness if allowed some time to make some changes. Especially if his relationships aren't screwed with this time around by the Power's. Since they always seem to like screwing him over.

2025-01-20 14:59:10 +0000 UTCI really like the idea of a reverse redo fic centered around Xander - hell, all of the core Scoobies if you ever want to do variations on the idea - where S2 Xander is now in the post S8 comics part of the timeline and gets to witness what his efforts helped bring about. I do hope that Xander talks to Buffy & Willow soon...their assumptions on what the other party is thinking about them being off-base is funny but I just feel like one big lesson that should have been learned over the past decade is open communication with one another.
