Loungewear [Breakdown]

Gonna call these breakdowns instead of progress, since they're finished drawings!

Took the 'loungewear' sketch from my 'Outfit of the day May' prompt and cleaned it up! I intend on doing this with all of them..and either making them into a magazine or just a print series..not sure!

So here's the breakdown! First, the sketch... didn't save the first rough sketch, unfortunately. I tend to sketch on the same layer, constantly going over it and building it up..like a sculpture! For those who watch my streams, you know what I mean (:

Next are the inks! Pretty basic stuff!

Time for colour! Got all the flats in, now for the finishing touches!

I slap on a shape in the BG to frame her, and I add a texture overlay just for fun. I find it makes the overall piece pop a lot more than just plain old flat colours.

Also threw in some steam coming from the coffee, her whiskers, and of course, my signature! (:
