Kodalynx Character Design [WIP 3 & Final]

The last of the progress on Kodalynx's new Siberian lynx lady I've designed for him!

He really liked B, so we took that and made a couple changes! Removed the "gloves" and "socks" markings and added in some shoulder stripe variants so she can resemble Koda's main OC a bit more, since they're related.

We both then talked about what design would be best in terms of simplicity when it comes to drawing this character at other angles and overall appeal. I suggest going with A since the stripes flow nicely with her underbelly pattern, and match her facial markings more. Just a nicer path to follow when drawing. B's is nice too cause it resembles Koda's main OC's shoulder stripes a but more, but they don't really fit into the overall design.

So A was the winner!

Finished things up by adding a colour palette and making an appealing simple ref sheet, annnd she's all ready to go! Really looking forward to seeing art of this gal in the future <3 I really am proud of her design. It was a lot of fun coming up with it!
