Style Practice [WIP]

Ahhh...this seems to happen after every convention I go to. I see a ton of art, then I look at my own and go "well..shit."

I'm thinking of maybe simplifying my art style, much more than it already is. I feel like lately I've been getting hung up over little details, which therefore makes my art look a little stiff. I want my work to be expressive just as much as my facial expressions. I want that portrayed in their bodies too.

So. Here's a little sketch of Nicole. As you can see her limbs are stylized here. I'm not being picky over "here's the knee cap, and this line is this muscle, etc etc) The entire leg is one consistent line. So I think I may aim for this more in my future pieces..and hopefully it'll stick?

I don't know..I'd LOVE to hear your feedback on this little sketch. Let me know if its working and you'd like to see me experiment more, and what not.
