When I decided to try and do a kick-flip off of my front stairs and failed to stick the landing (the gophers all held up 4.5 or 5.5 signs) I wasn't able to effectively work on hauling furniture around or even walking all that effectively.
Being forced to sit around for a couple days meant that I could start finishing the cleaned up sketch of an image I had started way back at the very end of September. It also meant I could work on an alternate image for a client. I was in a 'sketching' mood I guess.
I do want to curse my September-self for adding in so. many. trees. but I at least managed (I think) to capture Ahani, Pan, Anders, Annabelle and Terenos invading a neighbor-mare's yard in an attempt to raid the candy-dish.
Cinders, as always, is her witchy-self. It's less a costume she wears for the season, and more the season that catches up to her. Berrand, of course, is a demon. Because he's huge, and has access to really good props (In the form of a wife who can cast all kinds of alter-self style spells).
The trees are one of those things I had mentioned I liked wandering the old neighborhoods here to take pictures of. I like tree pictures. I'm probably very warped for that. But it comes in handy to have so many to pick from the archive.
I'm just over 2 weeks from the move. I'm able to run around again (and have a freezer that didn't drain right, so I get to try and clean THAT fun mess out) but I'd like to get the last inks done for a commission and... then do a massive catch-up. November and December is going to be catch-up-madness months. The two days I had to line in this art were actually wonderful, despite the aches, it felt so nice to just sit and sketch again. Damn I miss that.
Okay, on to try and move furniture again. Going to try and not do any gymnastics this time.
