The Lost Skelly Squeep.

I was going through a reference folder that was mostly trees and fences for a Patron sketch I'm doing and had a folder that wasn't named in there.  Just 'new folder'.  I figured I must have made a sub-folder  for something else and either just forgot to label it or never used it.

I was going to just send it to the trash, and checked it to make sure there wasn't anything in it.  This picture, along with a couple reference images of old stone walls was inside.

Fun fact is that I don't remember drawing this.  Or at least, I don't remember when it was from.  Its not a work file, as the layers were merged and it was saved as a .png, and there weren't any ruler layers or reference layers which I usually have an abundance of.

My guess is that this might be from 2020.  Maybe last October, as it has a 'spooky' vibe to it.  I know its Hyrahittia as it looks like her from the reference image I made of her, but I'm guessing either I didn't draw her 'up-armored-wearing-scraps' armor, or it was before I added those to her.

I can practically hear the 'squeap!" and her warning "Stay back!  Imma dragon.  I will rawr!" before knocking the kneecap off the nearest skeleton and running up the stairs like hell itself was chasing her.

As far as I know, I haven't posted this.  If I have.. um.. have a bonus posting!  Its Lost art, as I haven't got a clue where the work file even is, but its still salvageable as I can add in rulers based on the lines, and the figures are cleaned up enough to where I can tell what things are.

Sadly it wasn't in time for this year's Halloween.

Stay squeapy, folks.

Hyrahittia has to learn that you can't use mace on a skeleton -- and a taser won't work either... I occasionally find interesting tidbits on my hard drives. I found a story I'd believed long lost on a back-up of a back-up of a defunct computer.

I'm failing to see terror. I am seeing a much recognized reckless sense of fun in fighting skeletons that more than one character of mine has almost met their demise because of (yay for clerics!)

Faral Cane

She looks like she's having a grand old time knocking those old bones around.

I'm very glad that you found it! It's a terrific drawing and I hope you'll do some additional work on it, if you can. (And I likewise hope that the work file turns up to make it easier on you.)

A real pain in the patella!

Sometimes the most courage comes out of small packages. 😏 Nice.
