Valhaadrune (preview)
Added 2020-07-03 22:45:33 +0000 UTCJust a small glimpse of a rather large map of the world I'm working on. Normally I don't show 'sketchwork' of these kinds of things, but I figured I'd give a glimpse into what I had in mind for getting some world geography down.
None of the other continental maps will be as large as this, since Valhaadrune is the largest continent on the world (that and I'd probably lose my mind if I tried to make them all this large). It is planned to have all of the major and known settlements and markers on it, but it will definitely take a bit more time. I'm about 20 hours in on this now, and have about 1/3 of the geography done.
Its not the only thing I'm working on currently. I'll have some sketchwork out in the next week as well. I had a bit of free time since yesterday was 'Sad Trombone Canada Day' (Even the fireworks sounded like exploding frowns). I can't complain though, as I got to celebrate with a rather nice port while dotting away at this.

2020-07-05 19:12:05 +0000 UTCI can! It was just a matter of my actually starting instead of sitting around wishing I'd done it sooner. Procrastination had its hooks pretty deep in me for decades (along with other things). I'll admit, I had another good look over some online maps, largely including the ones of your world and it got me motivated again. Hopefully I can keep this going long enough to finish :)
