I've finally got time between a rampant amount of appointments this week to re-tweak the inks of this picture, and do a 'first colour ink' pass, setting up shadows and very general light direction/temperature.
This was one of the images I had hoped to have finished before all the snow hit, but later is better than never. Lyssiah and Cinders wandering the field on the outskirts of town, finding one of the many Nightlights (butterflies that glow) fluttering haphazardly towards them.
It may have gotten into the mead.
I've had to postpone the patron sketch start again until the 25th as well, due to having to make an unscheduled vet's appointment for one of my cats (smokey) who's developed a cough I'm a bit worried about. It means I had to shift all my work on Saturday forward, since I'm also due to go in and get my feet rotated and the bolts in my head re-tightened at the doctor's on Thursday.
If I can go December without seeing another medical waiting room, I'll buy Santa low-rider lights for his reindeer. I'll straight up leave out rum cookies and a bottle of JD's for him as well.
The cookies might have me-shaped bites in them. But if he hits the JD first he won't care all that much.
My plans are cunning, and pointless.
Either way, bark and neigh.
Butterfly sway.
