Posted with Bruma's permission is the sketch I had done of his character by the same moniker. The inks on this were atypical for what I usually do on sketches, with a background that I just couldn't stop adding little pieces to. When it comes to images with falling leaves in a natural settings I go full Bob Ross. Its nearly a zen state.
I'm really starting to love these kinds of settings in images. Much of my work is so primarily outdoors that it's probably not a surprise, but I've been getting into studying trees more (like my favorite, the birch) and realizing some mistakes I've made in the past.
Plus I got to draw a deer. A first, I think.
The character has an interesting kit of using an Imbel M964 (I believe) but with a deeply tribal root to him in what he's wearing. It launched me into 'draw more wolves' mode, which will definitely be a thing in the coming months.
All in all, a lot of fun! And with this image being the last of the first round of sketches to do for folks, the list has reset and round two is under way. Note went out on the 15th for the next one, and as before I'll work my way through them each month.
Coming up will be, of course, autumn art. Mostly critter stuff, but some fantasy as well. I need to get more colour done for images too as the autumn palette is just too good to pass up.
Busy times, but good times.
