Lightwave Reading - Patron Sketch

Hey all,

This is a patron sketch done for the month before last (as last month was my 'off' month). The character is from a society that has advanced tech and magic, so I sort of wanted to blend a mix of old (background outside the window) and new (Armadillo Shellpad 6, now with more Armadillo!).

I always have to end up stopping myself from detailing the daylights out of the background for these sketches, since I'm trying to stick to a simplified background for Patron sketches. It's hard to not go back in and start detailing out the windows and bevels though.

I couldn't make this an in-line post since Patreon is having a technical error that isn't allowing me to remove the few remaining false-bots that signed up last month. They are aware of the issue though, and I'm told their team is looking into fixing it. For the meantime I'll send out links to the image via messages, as usual.

I'm working on a painting for the next project, and have another sketch to give out this month on the 15th. And I'm hoping to be able to show some book-cover work that I'm just getting out of the composition stages now.

I've started going through old posts and making notes of images that are worth re-posting as in-line images as well, which will allow people to go back to any art they might have missed without my having to re-upload everything individually.
