Fury of the Dark Elves (September Release Video)

I am so excited with this month’s release as we’ve been working on Dark Elves for a long time now and this release brings our Raging Heroes Dark Elves to a new level.
We did our 1st Dark Elves army back in 2015. It was awesome. But still, there were things I wasn’t totally happy with. And there was also some stuff missing. With this new release, I think we’ve achieved something even more epic and we’re lining up our Dark Elves range with the vision I had.
I'm super thrilled for you guys because I think that this release is truly unique and that at the moment, there isn’t any other Dark Elves line available on the market as cool as this.
And for those of you who play Sci-Fi, you’ll notice that there is a little treat (well, a somewhat big treat) for you too ;)
Many Characters and Creatures for Many Different Uses
As always, we try to give you multiple gaming options. While this release is really focused on one race, it is no exception. So let's dive in:
Characters, Characters, Characters...
This month gives you tons of options to stage great games that involve Dark Elves in many ways.
First, if you are into RPG, many of these new characters would be perfect to use as your own PC such as the fierce assassin Vixx, the badass sorceress Sankuru or the mighty elite fighter Xiel-Ker, to name a few.
If you are mastering an adventure involving Dark Elves, many characters are just perfect to make mid-level NPC characters that your gamers will have to face and interact with before facing the real big terrifying bosses. Having characterful opponents like this in a game is always a very big plus for everybody: more fun for the GM, more challenges for the PCs ;)
The ones that immediately come to mind are the wild and unpredictable Kraash who comes in two versions (a great option to give new challenges to your PCs), the ruthless and stormy Yarkhil Dreth, or the high ranking and powerful Lord Askarian, Lady Darkryss, and Mistress Keriah. You don’t want to recklessly mess with these people...
And then, when your PCs have shed enough sweat and tears, it’s time to introduce them to the really big baddies…
Time to face the machiavellian Queen Malveriah and the nefarious King Kaelith!
And even more dangerous: King Kaelith on his Chimera…
Oh, the PCs thought they were done?
It’s time to unleash the apocalypse with a Dark Elf God’s incarnation!
Zar-Kann, the Incarnation of Fury, is the ultimate Dark Elf big bad guy and he will fill your friends with rightful terror!
You can use him in your RPG session as well as in your space dark elf army!
And of course the Chimera is also a versatile monster, suitable for a vast array of armies and adventures.

Super Sleek Scenery!
This month’s scenery is really, really cool!
We’ll post additional images of it in the next few days, we just didn’t had any room left in the video edit to truly do it justice, but you can do SO MUCH with it:
Underground corridors and passageways,
crystal forests,
high standing pools,
stalactites and stalagmites…
All of this can be mixed and matched to create a totally unique and stunning gaming environment.
And then, for the final encounter… The Centerpiece.
The Throne of Queen Malferiah, carved in rock, adorned with giant crystals, built against ancient crumbled dizzyingly high arches and stairways…
What a place to end a campaign!
I have to say, this is one of my favorite centerpieces ever!

I am playing Warhammer Fantasy and the dark/dread Elves are a super cool fraction of the whole Armies - and as other say, I think some aesthetic/glorious HighElves were so, so cool - cause on market is not so much stuff like these (Wood and Dark Elves having a greater Fanbase :D). I will print Sankuri - Arch Sorceress, Lady Darkryss and the High Priest with the sacrafice in the blood-pot. Thank you, for your daily hard work and I hope the reaction of us, positiv and negativ will support your work, to create now and in future super fantastic miniatures. Maybe one Idea: I think it is cool, if the community has the chance to vote for the basic setting of one Miniature - so Parameter could be like Wizard/Shaman/Cleric/Warrior/Beserker what else, what Pose she/he could have (or weapon...). For example you now, that the next release were...high elves ;)...and for one miniature you have some options, and we could vote for a few options. But that is only an Idea. Greetings!

2021-08-26 07:02:15 +0000 UTCMy thoughts are the female characters are too much "show off boobs" and not refined enough. Dark elves should feel more refined and these end up just feeling like the goal here was "boobs sell". It is quite disappointing. That is just me though.

I noticed the horses here are a combination between the wild riders from the winter fairy set and the mount of the vampire from the circus. I like how some of these details are reused, makes for interesting combinations of models that can still be tied together through small thematic motifs

I know about them but Snake women like a Lamia (the Melusai of Age of Sigmar) but in Dark Elf style, sort of Dark Elf 2nd wave (so Snake + Lizards cavalry, Black Ark Corsair, Dragon, etc ). Of course I am satisfied with this release, their look is amazing. Glad to read that you'll think about that little rework on menads :). Next release after Dark Elf is October ... Halloween 2.0? :)

As said before, just snake-women are missing for a full DOK army, maybe a future Snake Cult release? Happy to sse the Blood Seekers supported with a rock for more stability, they can't stand an a single foot finger like the greek ones ^^'. Is it possible to update them with a rock support when the new storage system is up? I would like to know if you can share again with us your next releases just to figure your path and what you have in mind.

Also is it possible for some of the named "hero" characters to have some alternate NSFW versions. I saw a few in there but none of the main ones i dont think? Would be a nice option to have and very Dark Elf as well. Not that im a designer, so i dont know how much work this takes, but i assume it wouldnt be too hard to include that option for this set? Maybe?

All the characters and Monsters are new, except for Kraash and Lady Darkriss, and these two have been completely re-designed. As for the Troops, only the Cross-bowWomen and SwordWomen come from our existing Fantasy range. The remaining troops are based on existing units but are completely new versions that feature different types of weaponry and looks. As you know, the popular wargame that talks about War and hammers most of the time provide two versions of the same kinds of unit. Finally, you are referring to our Void Elves range which is from our Sci-Fi range and is completely different from what you see here.

The only reason I bring it up is because they have a post from May 25th for the Viking release that has a section about the loyalty rewards which says this: "The 12 months reward is now ready and we will start working on the 15 months reward in the next following days. Since we did 2 months on the Greeks, it felt like we couldn't miss the opportunity to make the 12 months reward a Hydra. Plus there are so many options to add this massive beast to different settings or armies, we thought it was a perfect choice..." And went on to say that the 12 month reward would be releasing soon. Yet, I have seen nothing on the loyalty rewards since this post. Can we get an update on this please? Any information is better than no information.
