Most of the scenes between Daenerys and Drogo are explicit like hes alwasy got a hard on for her and shes always happy to take care of her man so they are (were) my Games of Thrones OneTruePair. They don't get enough credit for how down for each other they were. They were perfect in the books.

Scene happens pretty much the same in the books. Khal Drogo does not force sex on her the first time he actually is very polite and even though the only word he really knows is no in her tongue, he asks her "no?" when they about to do the thing and he says "no" when shes crying and whipes her tears and he done got her all hot and bothered so shes like, "YES." and they do it so that was much less disturbing because before that she was major scared poor baby. Theres a shit ton yall missing thats in this chapter of the books that is important because you basically figure out that daenerys will be build like a brick fucking house from spending her time with these people horse riding everyday she becomes stronger, she embraces the culture except slavery and raping of course. yadda yadda.

One fun fact and one comment. Emilia Clarke in a behind the scenes interview said that the heart was made out of the same candy that gummy bears are made from with added syrup to look like blood. The syrup was so sticky and spilled everywhere that between takes she got stuck to the toilet seat! 🤣 Daenerys starts out the show with the least amount of power and not only does she gain respect as she learns but she grows as a person. Whether you like her or not, she is so strong and a lot of the decisions that made her stronger were based on her goodness. (Think about what she does for the Unsullied BEFORE they support her. ) No character on here is perfect, but Dani’s pure goodness continues to be impressive.
