A move I accept given it didn't have the opposite effect upon their consistent presence. We still see them off and on, because they're understood to be crowd-pleasers. (And yes, I'm a super-fan. I'll admit that! That doesn't change the fact they're popular.)

2023-06-01 20:14:12 +0000 UTCI like how Wendy/Werewolf hasn't been on these lists since her first round. And yet, we consistently see panels of her adventures. That tells me her value is a crowd-pleaser is understood, giving her a permanent place in the continuity. In fact, would I be wrong to say Jennifer and Wendy are very much the cover girls and faces of this comic series? Obviously not the only ones, but perhaps the most pronounced. The reason is clear, they're both so most relatable. They basically straddle that line between humanity and monster perfectly, giving us a clear window into that world.
