2024-02-03 03:05:41 +0000 UTCSo my opinion on this first episode is it's depressing lol. Sure they highlight good times and the friendships but from Frieren's perspective everything seemed pointless. It wasn't until Himmel died that she shifted her view a little and I do mean little. I thought she would spend more time with the remaining group after all that talk about getting to know them better. Instead she continued on her journey as usual and returned to see them when she needed something from the area for her spells. I guess old habits die hard especially if you have a significantly longer lifespan than everyone else. I am curious to know what comes next. It may be just me, but I'm getting bad vibes from the Priest guy wanting that immortality spell and of Fern for having so much power at a young age. I'm 80%-85% sure the Priest is bad and I have Fern at 50-50 lol. Recommendation for anime: Yu Yu Hakusho Dub version( the best version for this anime lol)
