Well dang, vacation looks good on me

A quick trip to the beautiful tropics in Far North Queensland A friend of mine had just opened up a hostel (fucking girl power right there) and she asked one night if I would like to visit. without hesitation, I booked a ticket and spent 4 magical days with her. Of course, I had to go skinny dipping! This waterfall was located at Cascade Falls.

But something interesting happened...

I was asked numerous times why I went alone and not with Anna. I believe it's important to spend time away from your partner, to not always be together. To remember who you are without them. I've always struggled with the need for co-dependency in a relationship and once I recognized this, I did what I could to shift my thinking.

It then became the small things for me such as this trip. To engage in deep conversation with someone other than my partner, to experience different company, to make (small) decisions without having to think about my significant other.

Some may think this is selfish, perhaps a little odd. I think it's refreshing.
