Suddenly, too many plans | February 2024 Report

Time for the monthly report! I think since the last one, I've been keeping up a decent pace for things, so let's do the usual round of updates!

A Cartridge for a Lost Nintendo System | Things of Interest 

The new video about the Nintendo Game Processor RAM Casette is out, and did better than I expected! I didn't think it would surpass the views of the Camera & Sound core video, haha.

This impromptu TOI was basically what I spent my Lunar New Year holiday working on. It was cool to finally put a small spotlight on an obscure Nintendo topic, though I suppose contrary to what my endslate stated, there hasn't been any fanart for Asterisk's Great Adventure to my knowledge (but you never know lol)

As for future Things of Interest, there are plenty more obscure accessories I own that haven't had videos done on them, and I'm well aware there's plenty of demand there! (the masses need to know what a DSvision is!) I am definitely interested in doing more surface-level explorations of things I own, since not every TOI has a deep or easily researchable history. But I'm also having a LOT of other planned topics on my plate lately that I have no idea where to slot a new TOI video into my future schedule, so I guess if I ever get around to writing the script for one then it'll happen!

Every Game I've Beaten in 2023

Quick update on the 2023 game review -- voice recording is now underway, and I'll be doing some recording for it bit by bit whenever I'm free to do so! I did miss the original plan of possibly releasing this in February, but that's because two other videos have been scheduled for the next two months and I'll have to work on this video in-between those projects. MAR10 Day

A video is scheduled for release this Sunday on Mario Day (March 10th), and instead of a simple short like last year, this year's video will be fully scripted about a stupid Mario-related topic! So this week will mostly be me focused on editing this video and finishing it up.

April 1st

...and of course, the April 1st video, which for this year, instead of being a funny little deceptive April Fools joke, I'm planning on another scripted video this year about a ridiculous topic! That's all I'll say, the scriptwriting for this is in progress!

Yeah, I feel like these three videos are gonna keep me busy for the next 2 months, but if I do end up having some spare attention, I miiiiight try doing a small video idea too in-between them, like the Useless Nintendo Trivia series I mentioned in last month's report or a small-scale Things of Interest. I can't make any promises about those at the moment though!

And yes, I would LOVE to do another round of Patreon doodles since it's been a hot while since the last one, I just want to make sure I'm not juggling too much work between YouTube projects and real life! (There really isn't a lot of opportunities to work on videos besides occasionally chipping away at scripts when you're doing full-time work, whew)

And over on the Plus channel, I tackle the Nintendo Ten Billion Barrel! Thank you again to Jhynjhiruu for lending this to me to look at. It's probably gonna be a long while before I get to cover another Nintendo toy.

And like I mentioned above, I'd ALSO want to do more Plus videos soon. I still have to do my annual room tour (which is gonna have some interesting additions compared to last year), the Japan trip documentation I've been teasing for the past few months, arggggggggg

Yeah, so uh that's a lot of things both in progress and planned. I'll try and take it easy and focus only on a few at a time, and of course I'll let you guys know if any change in plans occur! Thank you all again!
