#sdr frieren Great finale for Freiren, I love the scene where Serie is passing everyone for various reasons Denku - not afraid to think about how to fight her upon first site. She respects this. Ubel - definitely not afraid to fight anyone and can visualize it as well. Series passes her instantly just from a glance, no words needed Land - respects his way of fighting with clones and leaving his main body back at home. (such a cool reveal, this is what Naruto should have been doing lol) Wirbel - says magic is a tool for killing, has no favorite spell, Serie says something similar earlier in the show so his viewpoint aligns with hers which is why she smiles at him. Also love how Wirbel says he should have killed Ubel to do the world a favor. She is definitely the one to watch out for. In her first intro the guy says she has the eyes of a killer and Wirbel knows how dangerous she is too. Ubel is a baddie!

Season 8 holds up well and they make great use of Andy as well as the GOAT Robert California. Most people say it dropped off but to me personally after so many rewatches I feel like season 9 is the most iffy season but has a huge payoff in terms of finales. Hope you guys have a different opinion experiencing it as a groups!

2025-01-14 23:34:47 +0000 UTCI don't know whether you are joking or not, but it is weird how you guys seem to be overlooking that Ubel is a psychopath/sociopath who enjoys killing and ignoring that Wirbel is kind despite his looks. Ubel is the person from the Hunter exam you referenced that enjoys killing, the story keeps pointing that out.

While not making an overt big deal of it something I think the writer is trying to do is make Stark very much a parallel to Himmel as well as Eisen. I think this shows in the ending scene with everyone saying goodbye to Stark because he's just been around helping out during the exam including my favorite senile old "master" XD. I really loved this show and glad you guys picked it up.
