But whenever he gets the chance to flex in that direction he kills it. Alexis obviously started as a comedic character on Buffy so we know he can do that stuff too. And as they said in the reaction, Amy's drunk acting is superb. Also - "pee pee!" heh heh

2025-01-03 14:41:33 +0000 UTC#Sunday Rundown #Battlestar Galactica While this whole episode is absolutely juicy with the drama, my favorite scene is the end with Captain Adama and Chief Tyrol. It really hammers home their state of desperation (in case any of the previous ones haven't yet LOL). In any normal situation Chief would absolutely be in the brig, but because he is the most experienced NCO (non commissioned officer) remaining and lead for the flight deck/mechanics Captain Adama can't afford to lose him. And the conversation is INSANE, telling Chief how he's gonna keep fixing those birds while carrying his guilt. Edward James Olmos absolutely crushes it in this scene and for the entire show. Starbuck is my favorite character (Gaius Baltar is #2) but EJO is my favorite actor of the show. Suraj speaks the truth when he talks about this show being among his best performances. Also, RE the water bit during the convo. They stayed there long enough to get enough water to last them a while (also they do have water reclamation to recycle used water but the massive loss meant they had to resupply the base amount for the reclamation cycle to work well) but they can't ever stay in one place too long cause the Cylons are still searching and chasing them, as seen w the ep where Starbuck took on a small scouting party.

His personality is probably most relatable for people. He doesn't care much for glory or honor. He just wants to do his part and have a good time. Gotta love Lorne 💚

2025-01-02 22:24:44 +0000 UTC#SundayRundown Battlestar Galactica So we're all really frustrated with Chief Tyrol right? But him telling off Sharon/Boomer at the end was so satisfying. "One of my kids is in the brig because of us!" Chief Tyrol is a nice guy. Too nice I think. Glad he finally stood up and cut off Boomer. As frustrating as this is it's only 17 days into the series. But it feels like more time has gone by for the characters. "Why are there so many reporters?" Good question, remember the Battlestar Galactica was being retired and there was a big ceremony with reporters, and I think they were on the government ship with Laura Roslin before the world ended. "What's the difference between an orange jacket and a yellow jacket?" -Mickey referring to the flight crew guys. Well the Galactica is like a U.S. Aircraft Carrier in space, and on aircraft carriers different jacket colors mean different jobs. In the navy red jackets handle the bombs, purple jackets fuel the planes, green jackets launch and repair the planes. So I'm guessing the writers just took that idea from the real navy, so some guys would repair, some fuel and arm the vipers.

The guy she loves just accused her of being involved in all of this. Of course that's how she would react. As for "the innocent man in jail", Adama pointed out clearly that Socinus is not innocent. He was convicted of lying in an investigation. He did do that. He wasn't charged with anything else.

I also think that Sgt Hadrian was getting out of control. BUT If Adama can just stand up and say, "we're done here" then that was no independent tribunal. At that point you are living under military law at the whim of the commander in chief. Which was always the case but this moment just makes it really clear. What do you guys think?

They have 12 existing models that look like humans, that's it (so far as we known). Also want to reiterate that only a few people knew that the cylon agent was left behind on the mining planet. If someone is Cylon, they were always a Cylon. Six told Baltar in the miniseries: there are 12 models, with many copies of those models. Cylons aren't made out of/based on people. They were created. And at the risk of people yelling about spoilers, because this has been insinuated from the jump but a lot of people miss this, the models do not have a hive mind. What one copy experiences the others don't experience. However, when they die, their consciousness is downloaded. Take of that what you will. Hashtag rundown or whatever.
