Did you know that John Rubenstein, the actor playing Linwood, originated the title role in the legendary Bob Fosse musical "Pippin" on Broadway in 1972? One of his songs in that was called "Corner of the Sky", name checked just before Linwood dies. You can find a YT video of Rubenstein performing the song on the MDA telecast in 1979. He had an extensive career on Broadway and regional theater, guest and featured roles in dozens of TV shows and movies (playing a lot of doctors as he got older), and also composed music scores for film and television.
