Orochimaru he was wrong about the Cowboy Bebop one. The fight he was talking about was actually from Naruto specifically the Naruto v. Neji fight

Yes the rich left are far from saints and are also corrupt and money driven...still not the same as the roys or their real-life counterparts given what we can see in terms of real world consequences. And especially weird coming from someone who i'm assuming has watched the show? The pierces clearly care about their views and principles...just not over the ridiculously huge payout. There's no reason to try and push for shiv otherwise, because they would just take the money and not care how logan runs the news. But it's almost framed as pure theater.

There is something about a 10 year long promise of paying tuition for a lot of people being a completely lie and the liar refusing to come clean making things progressively worse that feels worse than making a scene at a wedding

There's plenty of cringe moments on the show and it's up to the individual which one is the most of anything for them. When Michael insulted that landlady to her face or tried to kiss Pam or made a scene at Phyllis wedding. Those are some of my most cringe moments.

Based on the story we're told there's no logical reason anyone should've ever taken that clearly absurd promise seriously.

2024-02-13 16:23:26 +0000 UTCProbably only the 3rd time i’ve watched this ep out of like 5 rewatches for most of the other episodes lol. A-plot is still s-tier (provided you don’t think too hard about how the schools wouldn’t look into michael’s background, even then still very funny and cringe) b-plot had some funny moments but reallly stretched believability when it comes to how most in the office couldn’t see that Jim clearly wasn’t involved. Completely forgot about this subplot. Still one of the best office episodes though. Bj novak wrote it apparently and he’s written some of the darker episodes in the show’s run iirc.
